DVD #288 – What is The Teaching

Lecture given in the Aquarian Education Group’s old temple in Sedona, Arizona on August 11, 1996.

“The only Teaching that is worthy to be called a Teaching is the one that improves your life instead of deteriorating or degenerating it. This perfection starts on the simplest levels: make your body healthy; make your emotions pure and positive; make your thinking clear and benevolent; make your motives right and clean; make your relationships with others beautiful. If you cannot do these things, whatever else you are accumulating in life eventually is going to work against your survival.”

“If you disobey the Teaching, you betray your Higher Self. All true Teaching is given by the Hierarchy, and all Transpersonal Selves are members and executive officers of the Hierarchy. Disobedience to the Teaching is treason.

“The Teaching given by Krishna, Buddha, Christ, and Their disciples contains the highest wisdom a person can assimilate. Then there is the Teaching given through H.P. Blavatsky, Alice Bailey, and Helena Roerich, which reflects the wisdom of great Teachers. The Ten Commandments, the Sermon on the Mount, and the Noble Eightfold Path are precious examples of the Teaching.

“Your Higher Self wishes that you study the Teaching and actualize the wisdom given through it.

“All the Teaching is intended to bring you into contact with the Bridge within you. Once you have direct, face to face contact with your Higher Self, the ways of study change. You find books in Space, classes in higher realms, and Teachers in glorious spheres; and written Teaching can no longer offer what your soul needs.”
