“Discipleship in ancient times was always about receiving — ‘God give us; God give us.‘ In the New Age, discipleship is different. Discipleship works for the Plan, for the Hierarchy, for humanity, for great forces of Nature to change the psychology and consciousness of humanity. Torkom explains that true discipleship in the New Age means shifting one’s focus from self-interest to selfless service, working consciously for the upliftment of humanity through kindness, aspiration, and cooperation with the Divine Plan, the Hierarchy, and the great forces Nature.
